it's the Deep Root difference
Located in Austin's South Lamar District, Deep Root Massage will offer you the opportunity to emerge refreshed and nourished.
Like the great oak which stands proudly upright with its hundred arms uplifted to the sky and the tender reed which bows its head as it yields to the elements, to be resilient and adaptable to harsh events or adversity in life, you must embody balance.
Deep Root Massage may not have the ability to completely eliminate pressure and anxiety from one's life. But through massage therapy, we help to nurture the tree and encourage the body to grow its roots deep into the earth. We are grounded. We remind the tree's limbs to bend with the wind with ease. In this way, no matter how strong the winds of stress blow, Deep Root clients will not be uprooted and their branches will not be snapped.
targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue with deep tissue friction techniques across the grain of the muscle in order to address chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or injury.
involves stretching the connective tissue directly below the layer of the skin and releasing bonds between fascia with the goal of pain relief, increasing range of motion, and establishing equilibrioception.
involves deactivating trigger points that may cause local pain or referred sensations and pain in other parts of the body.
A one-hour session is great for a therapeutic tune-up and some general pain relief.
A longer session allows for additional time to address multiple conditions or injuries.
All sessions are custom-tailored to the client's needs incorporating a variety of modalities Including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, and Reflexology.
The client will be on the table for the entire listed duration of the session. It's the Deep Root difference.
